 NOVAtime Phone-In Solution
The NOVAtime Phone-In (NPI) system uses the latest technologywhich includes the use of the same reliable MS SQL database as NOVAtime3000/NOVAtimeAnywhere. By creating the NPI system, NOVAtime has effectively enhanced the product to meet the ever growing needs of our customers and their true working environments.

 

The NPI system is a perfect fit for companies whose employees are out inthe field or away from the office and/or punching In/Out or group transfers on a wall-mounted time clock is impractical. Employees use their EmployeeID number (plus PIN-optional) from any phone anywhere to record their time.

The NOVAtime Phone-In system was created to provide a reliable and efficient means of collecting field-employee punch and transfer data.   This capability is applied to NOVAtime’s feature-rich, comprehensive, and easy to use NOVAtime 3000 & 4000 Enterprise System software applications.

 

Language

  • English (Standard) – Basic recordings are shipped with the system but customized recordings may be created by client.
  • Up to 8 additional languages are possible. Recordings will need to be created.

Employee Functions
  • Clock-In – used by employees to indicate a clock in (not swipe & go)
  • Clock-Out – used by employees to indicate a clock out (not swipe & go)
  • Swipe & Go – used by employees to clock in/out (NOVAtime determines the punch order)
  • Transfer – Used by employees to transfer any of the 8 group levels available in NOVAtime.
  • Schedule – Used by employees to review their work schedule for the same day and tomorrow.
  • Voice Mail – Used by supervisors to leave employees private voice mail messages, and by employees to review their own voice mail messages. (Great for providing daily instructions to each employee separately)
  • Recorded Name Playback – Employees can record their name, and the system will announce their name when they key in their ID. (Great for confirmation that the employee entered the correct ID.

  • Employee Lockouts – restricts employees from clocking in too early or out too late.
  • Caller ID Verification – Employees can be restricted to calling in only from selected phones (caller ID required). The following are few of the options:
    • Employee Individual Phone Number
    • Select Phone Numbers from a common pool of valid numbers (Also allows each phone number to default to a group level assignment for IN punches)
    • Valid phone numbers based on the group level assignments in employee profile such as a number associated with a particular department.

 

The NOVAtime Phone-In system provides real time data for field employees to immediately advise supervisors, managers and administrators if appropriate coverage has been achieved at each job site via NOVAtime’s powerful onscreen data and/or reporting.  Supervisors and/or administrators can immediately address time sheet discrepancies or questions throughout the day in the field via internet instead of at the end of the day or even the end of the week.
